A Day on the Farm

A typical morning on our mini-farm begins with a trip outside for potty breaks and releasing a little bit of stored up energy. Breakfast is served at about 7:30 AM, and all dogs eat in their separate areas.  We follow up breakfast with some time to rest or play with toys. Daycare dogs typically start to trickle in shortly thereafter, and the pack enjoys some love and attention from their human hosts. Many dogs will follow Angela around while she finishes the morning chores or head outside for more play time.

At around 12:30 PM, we take a 30-minute walk (weather dependent) or have supervised interactive playtime in the fenced dog area followed by 10 minutes of love and petting.

1 PM is rest and free time. Dogs accustomed to a midday meal will be fed during this time.

At around 3:30, we head out for another walk or interactive outdoor play time. We might throw around a ball for a game of fetch, or the pups might just work out their "zoomies" with a game of chase.

The rest of the evening is staggered with potty breaks, play time, love and attention. Dinner is served at around 7 PM.

Pups are taken out for a final potty break of the evening at around 9:30 PM, after which we settle them in for bed. Dogs may sleep in a crate or on a dog bed or blanket. Sleeping arrangements are tailored to each boarder's individual needs.
